Staying Active in Retirement
Hi everyone! Kathy Longo here with the Flourish Financially Challenge. Welcome to your weekly opportunity to take a few minutes to set a small goal that can help you achieve your larger aspirations. This week I will be talking about Staying Active in Retirement.
Retirement looks different for everyone, but you’re likely to be happier and healthier if you remain active and engaged in the world around you. Research shows that retirees who work part-time, volunteer, or otherwise spend their time in active or socially engaged situations have a lower likelihood of developing age-related chronic health conditions. They also show higher levels of emotional well-being. What does this mean for your retirement? Your challenge this week is to answer that question so you can stay active in the way that’s right for you.
